GLSA will once again host it's annual Octoberfest Classic Tournament, October 8-10, this year. To date, over 250 teams have applied, representing Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Missouri, Iowa and Minnesota. The tournament is shaping up to be a very competitive event. Don't miss out !!

Club Announces Jeff Widmark as Recreational Director of Coaching

GLSA is very proud to announce Jeff Widmark has been named Recreational Director of Coaching. GLSA has recognized the Recreational side of the club is extremely important to the overall growth of the club, and has created the position of Recreational DOC to assist the 400+ Recreational Coaches that volunteer within the club. Jeff is currently also the Director of Youth teams (ages u8-u10) with GLSA which will also assist any player looking to make the transition from Recreational to Competitive Program a smoothe one. Executive Director, Michael Zovistoski said, "Jeff will be great in this role, his attention to development at the younger ages combined with his inate teaching abilites and tremendous level of patience are all attributes someone in this role truly needs."
