Procedures for Rescheduling Spring/Fall Games

Please note that GLSA requires a 7-day advance notice to reschedule a game.  Any team that cancels a game less than 1-week prior to the originally scheduled time MAY NOT be able to make up that game.

 1. Notify the opposing coach, and agree on a suitable day & time to make -up the game. Due to field availability, Sunday afternoon games are the best option for rescheduling, followed by evening weeknight games.  Saturday games are rarely available for reschedules.

2. Notify Jeff Widmark, Recreational Director,  at least 1-week in advance, to cancel the original game and request a new day & time.  Be specific. Jeff will then confirm your new day/time/field number.

3. Notify the opposing coach of the new game date and time.

4. Rescheduled games must be during daylight hours, lights will not be utilized.
5. PreK and K games will only be rescheduled Friday-Monday.

*********** In the event that a large chunk of games or an entire day is lost due to inclement weather, GLSA will move those games, keeping the same scheduled fields and times, to the end of the season. GLSA will determine if this course of action needs to be taken at the time of the cancelled games.
