GLSA is sensitive to the current situation many of our members are facing today. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you and your family. The health of GLSA's members, staff, and the organization itself are our number one priority.

Now that the stay-at-home order has been extended to May 30th, GLSA must cancel the spring recreational season.  A partial credit of $75 will be issued for the spring recreational fee and may be applied to either the 2020 fall season or the 2021 spring season. Refunds will not be issued for the spring recreational fee.

In preparation for the start of the season, the club incurred costs, which include but are not limited to jerseys, coach’s equipment, goal equipment and maintenance, field equipment and maintenance, insurance, and administrative overhead. The spring recreational season was scheduled to begin March 18th. The Governor’s stay-at-home order began March 21st. The shut-down was unforeseen and outside GLSA’s control.

GLSA’s board is trying its best to grapple with the COVID-19 crisis and will do its best to treat everyone fairly, including the staff, coaches, and vendors who contributed their time and/or goods before it became apparent that the season was going to be canceled by the Governor of Illinois. GLSA will not profit from this cancellation and offering a credit for a future season allows GLSA to cover its expenses and continue as an organization. We appreciate your understanding and patience as the facts unfold.

For those members who have reached out to the Club wishing to convert their credit to a donation, we will provide you with the appropriate document as a contributor to a non-profit charity. We are forever thankful for your contribution during this challenging time.
