He played youth soccer in Berkovista for 7 years before playing 4 years of high school soccer at Dr. Ivan Panov in Berkovista, Bulgaria. After High School, Mitko played 2 years of college soccer at NSA-Vasil Levski in Sofia, Bulgaria. After college Mitko played professionally for 1 year at Lokomotiv, Sofia, Bulgaria. When Mitko was 17 and 18 he was called in to the Bulgarian National team for the u18 and u19 seasons.Mitko moved to the U.S in 2000 and has been coaching with GLSA since 2002. Mitko currently holds a USSF "E" lisence. |
