The Greater Libertyville Soccer Association will continue to offer these programs to its members as well as all players interested in developing their game.  These programs are designed to be compliments to the players’ soccer experience.  All programs are taught by the Eclipse Select Professional Training Staff.  Please contact Academy Program Director, Michael Zovistoski, at mzovistoski@comcast.net with questions.

 

LITTLE KICKERS

 A creative and fun approach will be used to introduce age appropriate soccer fundamentals.  Coach Jeff, Sarah and Molli will instruct these classes.

 

Dates:  April 7th – May 22nd                                          Fee:  $77 for 7 sessions

Location:  Indoor Sports Complex                                Ages: 4, 5, & 6

Classes:  Monday and Thursday -- Morning: 10:00-10:50                     Afternoon:  1:00-1:50

** In the event classes are not full, staff may combine them. 

                

BRAZILIAN FOOTSKILLS 

Want to have magic feet?    Learn the foot-skills that are world renowned.  Coach Memo Marin will teach participants tricks, fakes, feints, and overall ball mastery.  This class will inspire players to continue to use these skills throughout their playing careers.

 

Dates:  April 11th – May 16th                                        Fee:  $72 for 6 sessions

Location:  Outdoor Sports Complex; Field 17

Classes: Fridays - 4:30-5:30:7-8 yrs old,  5:30-6:45:9-11 yrs old,  6:45-8:00:12-14 yrs old

 

SCORING!

Players will spend the majority of this class striking balls on goal.  The act of scoring requires a great deal of technical and psychological skill that will be taught in these sessions.  Coach Derek Niepomnik will teach proper shooting technique through fun activities that will inspire them to score goals!

Classes: Fridays - 4:30-5:30:7-8 yrs old,  5:30-6:45:9-11 yrs old,  6:45-8:00:12-14 yrs old

 

Libertyville Premier Juniors

Interested in becoming a future soccer star?  Players can expect to learn the fundamental skills necessary to succeed on the soccer field from Coach Jeff Widmark and the professional staff of the Libertyville Premier Travel Teams.

 

Dates:  April 11th – May 16th                                        Fee:  $120 for 8 sessions

Shirts and socks will be issued, players asked to wear black shorts.

Location:  Outdoor Sports Complex; Field 3

Classes: Fridays – 4:30-5:45: 6-8 yrs old,                     5:45-7:00: 9-12 yrs old

Sunday Play Dates: Sun, May 4 and Sun, May 11, times TBA

 

 

All Players should bring a ball, shin-guards, and a water bottle to their classes!!!!!!!

 

 

SPEED AND AGILITY

Explosive power, speed, quickness, change of direction, footwork; this class will explore the physical attributes of the game of soccer.  Before coming to the coaching staff, Coach Colin worked with the Chicago Bears in a speed and agility training capacity.  He will bring that knowledge and run dynamic footwork sessions to increase the athletic ability of the class participants.  Please wear running shoes or indoor shoes for this class, no cleats, no shin guards necessary, bring soccer balls, and water.

5:00-6:00:  9-11 yrs old,           6:00-7:00:  12-14 yrs old
