Recreational Rules and Regulations

Welcome messages, which give directions on how to log on
and create a password, were sent to an e-mail address given to us by each
referee. To receive another welcome message, request one by email to
referees@glsa.org
Must be 12 yrs. of age.
12-13 yr. old are required to have a parent or guardian present during their assignments.
Referees
must be at least 12 years old. Per
Illinois Child Labor Laws*
, referees must be at
least 12 years old and all referees under age 16
must have a work permit issued by their school or by
the Regional Office of Education. Work Permits are valid for one
year from the date of issue.
To obtain a work permit:
1. Complete the
"Letter of Intent
to Hire"
from GLSA
2. Gather the
child's Social Security card and proof of age (birth
certificate)
3. Make an appointment with your school Principal
to obtain the permit. Please DO NOT make an appointment with your Principal until
you have your documentation together. Work Permits are
good for one year from date of issue.

Although primarily for USSF certified (Patched) referees, microsoccer referees may attend. Please wear your referee uniform. There is no cost. Pre-registration is by email. |
